Park Avenue's current artists are: Bruno Vanoudenhove - As an artist, Bruno Vanoudenhove uses his photographic background to create photorealistic portraits in black and white acrylics. Having traveled through many European cities, Bruno, through his paintings, shares his love for the beautiful symmetrical designs of historical architectural monuments. Kinsey Branch - Kinsey firmly believes in painting intuitively and with conviction. She has a dialogue with each piece of art she creates: some shout and some whisper, but they all demand to be painted. Kinsey has been painting in the Abstract Expressionist tradition for over ten years. Her work evolves from the human form to orgnaic shapes and then evolves again to minimize and simplify those forms. She graduated from Millikin Universtity with concerntrations in drawing, painting and ceramics. Kinsey has lived and shown her work in Illinois, Houston and the Washington DC metropolitan area. Her website is www.onestopkarmashop.com. Alex Brubacher - Alex's work has an expressionistic street-style fundamentally based on his knowledge of classical painting and illustration. He seeks to represent an illusory moment or dreamlike fabrication of time, place and emotion. Alex received his BFA with a concentration in illustration from Northern Michigan University. His murals grace Park Avenue Wine Bar's Burgundy Room and the exterior Cook Street side of McGonigal's Pub. His work also appears in Michigan Avenue's Nike Town and other hip venues. Alex believes that connections to certain people and locations brew strong emotional feelings that leave him bonded to them. He loves that his work will live for a long time in Barrington. Susan McConnell - Susan recently travelled through Paris with two native guides who steered clear of traditional sites and dished up views that were distinctively Paris and instinctively different. She created shots from Paris rooftops, savvy department stores and winding streets. The exhibited collection "Have you seen Paris like this?" is a view of Paris that most people never see. Susan has an MBA from DePaul University and is self-taught in photography. Susan's photography has received awards for private images as well as images created for public collections. Her work may be seen on covers and in feature articles in Quintessential Barrington Magazine, Northshore Magazine and Martha's Vineyard Magazine.
