	2009 Owen Roe Red Blend Yakima, Washington Yakima Valley in Washington is known for producing phenomenal red wines. Owen Roe's 2009 Red Blend is certainly a classic example. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this Bordeaux style blend shines with a rich core of fruit, a touch of minerality and firm tannic backbone. Friendly yet complex, this is a wine for enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike. It certainly ranks in my book as one of 2011 best new releases.

Park Avenue Wine Bar & Restaurant serves dinner every night 4 PM to 11 PM and lunch Monday to Friday 11 AM to 4 PM. Our bar is open to closing time, 2 AM on weekends and 1 AM during the week.

Park Avenue Wine Bar is a distinctive destination for wine enthusiasts in Barrington and the Chicagoland area. Park Avenue features wines and other libations in a chic, comfortable bar setting. We feature 25 wines by the glass, and of course peruse our list of over 70 wines by the bottle. A wide array of beer, cocktails and after dinner drinks is also available.

A full food menu for lunch and dinner features small plates, dinner entrees, salads, sandwiches and dessert. Executive Chef Ted Stay's menu emphasizes fresh local and sustainable ingredients. The food is at once classic and cutting edge.

All of Park Avenue's wines as well as liquor are available for retail purchase.

“We want Park Avenue Wine Bar to reflect the things that we love about Barrington: friendly and comfortable, but with a sophisticated flair,” says owner Steve Berry.

Park Avenue Wine Bar is located in the village center of Barrington at 205 Park Avenue, one block from the Metra train station and the intersection of Lake Cook Road and 59.
